Children and staff at Giggles Day Nursery are settling into their new surroundings in Inskip, Skelmersdale, after contacting West Lancashire Borough Council for help to find a new base.The nursery had been based in Westgate since 2009, but the owners were keen to look for somewhere new for the provision to enable them to increase their capacity and provide excellent facilities indoors as well as outdoors.
Derby Ward Conservative candidate Edward McCarthy has welcomed plans to improve the parking for users of Ruff Wood on Vicarage Lane. The Conservative borough council has set aside monies to resurface a pothole-ridden lay by in its budget.
