Litter and dog fouling is a major concern for some local residents in Ormskirk, and following on from concerns raised by Ormskirk residents, Edward McCarthy Conservative Candidate for Derby ward raised their concerns with West Lancs Borough Council.
Edward said: “Residents get very annoyed when they see dog fouling. Dog fouling is not only unpleasant it is a health hazard. Following on from concerns from residents West Lancs Borough Council have fitted new signs and pavement wording have been installed around the Chapel St areas and other parts of Ormskirk.”
Edward McCarthy added “These improvements are to be welcomed, if residents would like to report any issues / incidents regarding dog fouling please contact West Lancs Borough Council, on the Council website you can report these issues too.”
