People living on the Scott Estate are being encouraged to get involved in a great event right on their doorstep.
West Lancashire Borough Council is working with the Police, the Fire Service and other agencies to organise community action days on the Scott Estate, Ormskirk on Tuesday 3 February and Wednesday 4 February.
West Lancashire Borough Council is confident it will be able to maintain the current level of services it provides for the next financial year when it sets its budget in February 2015. The authority had been facing a £1.3m budget gap for 2015/16, due largely to central government cutting its core revenue support grant funding by around £1m next year.
