Conservative controlled West Lancs Borough Council is investing in new blue recycling bins for residents and improvements to public open spaces in Burscough and Skelmersdale.
Funding for eight voluntary organisations in West Lancashire is set to be protected, thanks to local Conservatives. The amount of funding currently tops £85,000 a year, and Conservative councillors have announced that unlike other areas of the country, there will be no proposed cuts to their revenue funding.
