David has lived in Lancashire all of his life, he is married with three grown up sons. He was first elected as a WLBC councillor in 1976 apart from a brief period in the 80s.
Some years ago David was elected to Lancashire County Council where he represented West Lancs South. David was successful in the 2013 County Council elections.
David is the Conservative County Councillor following the 2017 County Elections for the new division of West Lancs West.
