The whole family can enjoy a fantastic day out at the hugely popular Green Fayre at Beacon Country Park on Saturday 19 July and Sunday 20 July.
The Green Fayre is a fantastic celebration of countryside life and its wonderful traditional skills. With attractions ranging from sheepdog trials to woodland crafts demonstrations there really is something for everyone at the wonderful free event, which is open between 11am and 5pm on both days.
Councillor David Sudworth, portfolio holder for Health and Leisure, said: “Everyone looks forward to the Green Fayre every year and thousands of people will come to the park over the weekend. There are many fabulous displays showcasing a wonderful array of traditional products and skills that are rarely seen today. So make sure you don’t miss this thoroughly enjoyable event.”
Vikings doing battle is just one of the really exciting attractions planned for the main arena. There will also be plenty of four-legged fun with the dog display teams and some high flying antics with the falconry team.
