Make sure you are in pole position to enjoy one of the biggest free family events in the North West of England to take place in Ormskirk. The Ormskirk MotorFest has been a hugely popular occasion since it began in 2011, attracting around 30,000 people in 2016 and 2017. The 2018 event, organised by Aintree Circuit Club and supported by West Lancashire Borough Council, takes place on Sunday 26 August and it will be fantastic day out for all the family.

The Concours de Elegance competition will once again be a feature at the MotorFest. This will see some specially-presented vehicles line up to for expert judges to cast their eye over them, including a 'Class of 58' for vehicles from that year with a trophy for the winner. Owners can enter their vehicles in the Concours on the MotorFest website. Halsall-based Carequick Ltd Air Conditioning, which specialises in building services, air conditioning and mechanical maintenance, are sponsoring the Concours de Elegance for the fourth successive year. This attraction will complement the superb town centre displays which will feature a fantastic variety of classic and modern cars and motorbikes. Many vehicles will join in parade laps around the town centre to entertain the crowds.
