Children can visit the Chapel Gallery in Ormskirk and The Tree House Gallery, Gift Shop & Cafe in Skelmersdale this half-term to find plenty of ways to get creative and have fun.
Each imaginative session is planned for five to 12 year olds, with jumbo games for all and creative play activities to entertain younger siblings. The children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
Join Shelly Thomas-Baines this half term and 'Emoji Yourself!' at workshops at the Chapel Gallery on Tuesday 13 February. In this fun, creative workshop children can make their own emoji masks and even design their very own emoji family! Sessions are at 10.30pm–midday and 1.30pm–3pm.
At the 'BIG Dino Stomp' on Wednesday 14 February at the Chapel Gallery children can meet Cheryl O'Connor and create their own dinosaurs out of Play-Doh with whatever colours and patterns they choose, from a scaley green T-Rex to a sparkly pink Dancer-o-sauress. They can even make dinosaur fossils and a land for their dinosaur to live in. Workshops take place between 10.30am–midday and 1.30pm–3pm.
Children can let their imagination run wild with the creation of 'Bonkers Birds Puppets' with artist Sarah Jane Richards on Thursday 15 February at the Chapel Gallery. Sessions take place from 10.30am-midday and 1.30pm–3pm.

The Tree House Gallery, Gift Shop & Cafe, Sandy Lane, Skelmersdale hosts free craft fun from Tuesday 13 to Friday 16 February and free arty materials will be provided. Sessions are from 10.30am-midday and 1.30–3pm. The sessions are free to drop in but places are limited so you can contact The Tree House on 07860617353 to check space before arrival.
Young people who love getting creative should contact the Chapel Gallery about its Art Clubs, including the brand new Little Art Club for children aged 5 to 7.
There are always free creative activities on offer at the Chapel Gallery and it hosts regular sessions for children and families planned by The Creation Station and The Story Tree.
