Graham, who has lived in Aughton Park since 1998 and has been a parish councillor since then has been approached by residents concerned about criminal and anti social behaviour in Aughton Park. Graham believes that giving Aughton’s PCSOs extra powers - a move which West Lancs Labour voted against - would help keep order.
Graham said: “I have been told of homes in roads in the Moss Delph Lane vicinity being ’egged’ and local play areas which have been vandalised. This should not be tolerated - we need PCSOs with extra powers so they can come down hard on those who make residents’ lives a misery.
"In voting against giving our PCSOs more powers, Labour have shown themselves to be completely out of touch and obviously do not care about helping to keep our communities as safe as possible.
"If elected on May 5th, my Conservative colleagues and I will continue to press for extra PCSO powers.”
