In the morning, they joined candidate Ryan Waite for leafleting and canvassing in Labour-held Digmoor Ward, while in the afternoon they moved on to Birch Green where Craig McCann is hoping to take the seat from Labour.
The 'Action Saturday' was part of an active campaign the party is fighting in Skelmersdale across all six of the town's Borough Council wards - Ashurst, Birch Green, Digmoor, Tanhouse, Skelmersdale North and Skelmersdale South.
Graham Jones, Deputy Chairman Political of West Lancs Conservative Association, attended the campaigning day and said: "This was an excellent initiative organised by our new Skelmerdale Branch.
"During the day we spoke to over 200 people and got a fantastic reception. In fact, many commented that having not seen any sign of Labour during this election campaign, they were glad that a party had bothered to knock on their door and fight for their vote.
"The overriding feeling from people in Skelmersdale was that Labour has taken them for granted for far too long, and they especially angry at local Labour councillors who voted against local Conservative calls for extra powers for our local PCSOs at the recent Full Council Meeting.
"As Conservatives, we are fighting every seat in Skelmersdale with a team of first class candidates who have leafleted and campaigned in every single ward and are fighting for every single vote.
"Our message to people in Skelmersdale is that if they vote in a Conservative Borough Councillor, they will have elected a person who will not take your vote for granted."
