There is still time to request your entry form for the prestigious West Lancashire Open Exhibition at the Chapel Gallery.
You don’t have to be an artist to exhibit at the Exhibition. If you enjoy painting, drawing or taking photographs and friends and family comment on your talent, now is the time to enter.
This exhibition celebrates the creative talents of ambitious amateurs, accomplished students and professional artists from throughout the region. Whatever kind of art you make, photographs, paintings, textiles, or anything in between, this is an excellent opportunity to exhibit or even sell your pieces.
Each entrant can submit two original pieces of artwork that will be presented to the selected panel. The submission days for handing in your work are Friday 1 and Saturday 2 July. All media entered will be considered, from paintings, printmaking, three-dimensional work and photography to sculpture and textiles.
All the entries selected by the panel of judges will exhibited at the welcoming Chapel Gallery in Ormskirk from 16 July to 7 September 2016. Each year people who have never shown their artwork in public get their first experience of exhibiting in a professional gallery.
For a chance to exhibit, make sure you pick up an entry form by contacting Chapel Gallery on 01695 571328 or email [email protected]. Alternatively, pop into the gallery, in St Helens Road, Ormskirk. For further information you can also visit Chapel Gallery (external link).
