The summer may be nearly over but autumn is a great time to visit parks and countryside areas to see the wonderful seasonal colours in the local landscape.
West Lancashire Borough Council has a wonderful array of sites across the borough for everyone to enjoy – with two of our parks, Coronation Park, Ormskirk, and Beacon Country Park, Up Holland, having the nationally recognised prestigious Green Flag Award.
Other great places to visit include Fairy Glen, Appley Bridge; Hunters Hill, Hilldale, Richmond Park, Burscough; Ruff Wood, Ormskirk; and Tawd Valley Park, Skelmersdale.
